This is for people new to exercise or maybe coming back to exercise after illness, injury or a long-break

So often when we set any goals surrounding exercise, we try to change too much too soon. Or we end up doing exercise we hate just because we think we should

It’s better to meet ourselves where we are at. You don’t need to get specific to begin with; take the pressure off and simply set the intention to move more, experiment with different modes of exercise until you find what you enjoy and maybe enlist a friend to join you

And remember, intentional movement is not limited to exercise. Move more in general by putting more vigour into your housework and gardening and opt to walk to your local shop instead of taking the car
